ONTWA TOWNSHIP, MI — Police seized more than 30 pounds of marijuana and more than 40 pounds of marijuana edibles, along with $30,000 cash and several vehicles, during a drug investigation.
Detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team served a search warrant Friday, March 2, at an address in the 71000 block of Stateline Road in on the suspicion that the illegal sale and use of marijuana was taking place there, according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives searched and discovered processed and packaged marijuana in excess of 30 pounds and as a storage tote full of marijuana edibles in excess of 40 pounds, police said.
Marijuana wax and oil was also located in dozens of small containers that were ready for distribution, police said.
More than $30,000 in cash was seized along with several vehicles, police said.
Warrants are being sought for multiple individuals in this matter and the investigation is still ongoing at this time, police said.
